Myrkdalen is the largest ski resort in Western Norway and one of the most snow-sure resorts in Europe, boasting an average snowfall of five metres and an extended ski season stretching from mid-November to the end of May.
Relatively undiscovered and blissfully uncrowded, Myrkdalen offers gentle, quiet slopes for beginners right up to untracked off-piste for the experienced and adventurous skier.
Set in a serene region of fjords and frozen lakes, this modern resort opened in 2003. Still fairly unknown, Myrkdalen has grown each year, creating an uncrowded ski area that’s snow-sure from December to May.
Norway offers a completely different experience from the typical European ski trip - Indoor skydiving, sledging, horse-drawn sleigh rides and boat cruises to see the spectacular Fjords which are only 30 minutes from the resort.
With an average snow fall of over 5 metres every winter the snow conditions are excellent at throughout the extended season. Being Norway, the most enjoyable time to ski is later in the season when the temperatures are kinder, and the days longer. The resort has 22 runs, serviced by 9 lifts (Chair and drag lifts). Ski school is 2.5 hours tuition in the morning, then lunch, and then another 2.5 hours of lessons in the afternoon.

Myrkdalen Hotel's modern design was inspired by the great outdoors and the natural surroundings, making the most of the superb ski-in ski-out location. The beginners area and lift is 60 metres away from the front door and the ski hire and ski school are a stones throw away too.
This is a high quality hotel with wonderful public areas and spaces to relax in. It offers three restaurants which gives our groups different tastes during the week including a Pizza and Fondue evening.
The rooms hold a maximum of 4 students, are all ensuite with some amazing views.
The package includes Full board - Continental Breakfast, Hot lunches back at the "Lodge" and 3 course evening meal
