Grandvalira - Andorra
Andorra has been transformed into a world class ski destination in recent years with a huge investment in the infrastructure. Nestled on the border between France and Spain, Andorra is Europe’s sixth smallest country covering an area of just 468 square kilometres, made up of rugged mountains, steep valleys and beautiful lakes. It may be small, but Andorra packs a huge number of attractions into its mountainous landscape and is a firm favourite with ski and snowboard enthusiasts, with 65 summits over 2000m high and in excess of 300km of snowy slopes. It now has a modern, efficient lift system, a variety of slopes suitable for all abilities with designated beginner zones perfect for building your groups confidence. The hotels are renowned for their service making you feel welcome and comfortable whilst you are recuperating after a busy day on the slopes .
There’s plenty to do off the slopes too, choose from swimming, bowling, ice skating and of course tax free shopping!
Grandvalira is Andorra's largest ski area offering 210km of perfectly groomed runs. The base area sits at 1710m with the highest lift positioned at 2640m. The 139 runs and 65 lifts are suitable for all abilities.
We have several 3 and 4 star accommodation options in the resorts of Encamp, Canillo, Soldeu and El Tarter all offering easy access to the Grandvalira ski area. All the hotels are selected by us for their suitability for groups. All serve good quality, locally sourced cuisine and have facilities suitable for school groups.
The Ski Area
Grandvalira is Andorra's largest ski resort combining 7 inter-connected ski areas. It has an excellent infrastructure with multiple access points from the valley villages to its 65 lifts meaning you can maximise your time on the slopes. Our groups will ski in either the Encamp or Tarter areas with each area offering 100kms and 110kms of skiing respectively. The resort villages are at approximately 1710m with the highest lift at 2640m, and there are 139 runs in total offering a superb variety of skiing that are suitable for all abilities. Whole area lift passes combining 210 kms of skiing are also available at a daily supplement.
Grandvalira Accommodation
Location: Grandvalira, El Tarter, Andorra
We have a selection of 3 star hotels and hostels situated in the resort villages of Encamp, Canillo and El Tarter, as well as the main town of Andorra la Vella. All the hotels offer easy access to the ski area either being a short walk or private shuttle transfer from the lifts. They vary in size and facilities but all have been selected by us for their suitability for groups. We’ll have an option that you’ll love whatever your requirements. All the hotels have communal spaces, in-house evening entertainment options and serve great food. We include a full board package which includes hot lunches on the mountain to maximise your time on the slopes.

Travel by coach or air

Andorra is suitable for coach and air groups with flight options major and some regional UK airports
Direct flights from The UK to Toulouse, Barcelona or Girona. The resort is approximately 2.5 - 3.5 hours coach transfer from these airports.
Coach - Luxury UK coaches from 49 - 85 seats, Channel ferry or Eurotunnel crossing. Approximately 16 hours from Calais
