Cesana is a small traditional Alpine village nestling in the valleys between Italy and France that form the ‘Monti della Luna’ ski area. part of the renowned Milky Way - This is one of the biggest ski regions in Europe offering with over 400km of runs! Your group can also cross the border into France to ski in the resort Montgenevre. Beginners will start on the dedicated nursery slopes and will soon be catching up with the intermediate and advanced groups and heading further up the mountain.
You will be staying in a modern 3 star hotel, just 200m from the lifts and within walking distance of the village.
Over 400 km of perfectly groomed slopes, the Milky Way is renowned as one of the worlds best ski areas. With a dedicated nursery slopes, a mix of woodland runs for absolute beginners and steeper slopes to improve on, this is a great area for both beginners and Intermediates. For advanced skiers the Fraiteve and Moncrons runs are well worth a visit.

The Hotel Solaris is situated in a tranquil setting within walking distance of the charming, pedestrianised Alpine village of Cesana Torinese, with its traditional shops and Italian cafés. The hotel is conveniently located 200m from the gondola.
Students will be staying in 2-5 bedded rooms. All are en-suite and towels are provided.
The hotel has a modern layout with a spacious restaurant, comfortable lounge/bar and areas which are suitable for groups to use for in-house evening entertainment.
The full board package includes a breakfast buffet, packed lunches on the slopes or hot lunches at the hotel and a 3 course dinner is also provided each evening.

You can choose to travel by either coach or air to Cesana. There are regular flights to Turin which is approximately 1 1/2 hours away by coach.
Alternatively you can travel by Luxury UK coach from school to the resort. The coaches are modern, have 2 drivers per vehicle and will remain with you for the duration of the trip.
We keep all the hotel rooms on the last day and include breakfast on the return journey for all our groups that travel by coach.
As well as the skiing we'll also organise a full evening activity program. In Cesana you can choose from the following

Please make sure your child has a valid passport with at least 6 months left until it expires on the date of departure.
An EHIC / GHIC card. If your child has an EHIC card it will remain valid until its expiry date. Following Brexit this has been replaced by the GHIC card which is still free and means you have access to free healthcare whilst in Europe. We have also included a comprehensive travel insurance policy in your package
Spending money - They shouldn't need much but a small amount of sterling for whilst they are travelling in the UK and on the ferry and the remainder in Euro's. Enough so they can get the odd hot chocolate on the mountain, a snack at the services en route to the hotel and a souvenir or two to thank you for letting them go on this amazing trip!
Skiwear - The cost of skiwear has come down dramatically over the past few years so this wont cost the earth. We provide the rental of boots, helmets, ski's and poles but they'll need a ski jacket, sallopettes ( waterproof trousers ) and a few other bits and bobs. We'll tell you more about exactly what they need and where to get it nearer the time.
