💳 Mandatory Membership Fee
A €20 RAF WSAA Annual Membership fee is auto selected in the Accom/Payments tab. This fee is a mandatory requirement for entry to AC26 and is non-refundable in the event of cancellation.

🛌 Accommodation Options & Highlights

Weiser Wohnanlage (WW)
Budget-friendly, self-catering apartments for 3–5 guests. Studio and one-bedroom layouts feature double beds (two mattresses), sofa beds, and bunk beds. Includes kitchen facilities, linens, towels, and final cleaning. Just a 4-minute walk to the Zwölferkogel lift—great value for location and simplicity.

Adler Resort
Popular and versatile, with standard and superior apartments for 4–8 guests. Choose between self-catering or all-inclusive (includes breakfast, dinner, and drinks from 18:00–22:00). The living room’s double sofa bed accommodates 2 guests, consistent with previous RAF Alpine Challenges.

B&B Hinterglemm
Charming B&B offering en-suite rooms in double, triple, and quad formats. Breakfast is included throughout your stay—ideal for couples and smaller groups.

Hotel Gamshag
A cozy 3-star hotel in the heart of Hinterglemm. Offers single and double ensuite rooms, a small wellness area, and a standout breakfast. Centrally located near amenities and lifts.

Kerii
Modern 4-star retreat with breakfast included. Features the trendy “Jungle” lounge/bar and a rooftop pool with sauna—perfect for a stylish, relaxing experience.

Did you know, if you play the RAF Sports Lottery, you could be eligible for charitable support funding from the RAF Central Fund?

RAF Serving Personnel with active tickets in the RAF Sports Lottery (find out more here) can utilise their annual Sports Grant funding to support their attendance at the Alpine Challenge*.

Simply download, complete and submit the ‘Alpine Challenge Application Form’ from the website and you could be reimbursed by up to £225.00 following the event! Applications should be made in line with Central Fund Sports Grant Policy and can be submitted at any point prior to the Alpine Challenge.

*Support for AC26 utilises individual Sports Grant funding within the 2026 calendar year. The Central Fund is open to receiving AC26 applications (only) ahead of the 1 January 2026.

🏔️ Travel Insurance Requirement

It is mandatory for all participants—both serving personnel and civilians—to have adequate travel insurance, including Winter sports cover, valid for the entire duration of your trip. 

RACING - If you are a civilian, and want to participate in races, you need to ensure you have the appropriate cover to undertake this activity.

If you require travel insurance, there are many providers to choose from. As an example, you can explore options at Cover2go, where you may find a policy that suits your needs.

Please note:

• You may already have an annual policy or coverage through your credit card.
• In such cases, ensure your policy is valid at the time of travel and provides sufficient coverage for all planned activities, including Winter sports.

📌 Important: As we approach the travel dates, you will receive a task asking you to confirm that you have adequate travel insurance in place.

🏔️ Ski & Snowboard Lessons – Week 1 & Week 2

Lessons are available for both Skiing and Snowboarding during Week 1 and Week 2. Each course runs for five full days within a single week and caters to a wide range of ability levels.

To get the most out of your experience, it's essential to select the correct ability and confidence levels. Please follow the steps outlined in the "Lessons Tasks" form, located under the "Tasks" tab on the left-hand toolbar.

🎿 Ski Passes

Ski passes can be selected under "Additional Items" within the Accom/Payment tab on the left-hand toolbar.

• 6-day ski passes are recommended for guests staying one week.
• 13-day passes are ideal for those attending the full duration.

If you've pre-booked and paid for your pass, it will be ready for collection on arrival. A €2 key-card deposit is required upon collection—this is refundable when you return the pass at any main base lift station.

📱 Tip: Take a photo of the front of your lift pass on your phone. This provides a digital record of your reference number in case it’s lost. Replacements can be issued at the lift station, but there will be an admin and key-card fee. Best to keep it safe from the start!

🏂 Equipment Hire

Equipment can be booked via "Additional Items" in the Accom/Invoice tab.

• Upon arrival, those with pre-booked equipment will receive an Equipment Voucher, listing everything you've booked.
• This voucher can be used to collect gear from Rabbit Sport, Sport Gumpold, or Intersport Breitfuss — all located conveniently near accommodations (7 locations across the resort).

The equipment is your responsibility during your stay. If you need to swap anything, visit the same store chain where you collected your gear (e.g., changes from Sport Gumpold must be made at a Sport Gumpold location).

✈️ Airport Transfers

Return airport transfers can be booked under "Additional Items" in the Accom/Payment tab.

• Transfers will run throughout arrival and departure days, combining multiple flight schedules.
• In October, you'll be prompted to submit your flight details—this is crucial so we can optimize transfer schedules and minimize your wait time.
• We’ll communicate your scheduled transfer time prior to your arrival or departure.

Flight delayed?
Don’t worry — we’ll adapt in real-time. That may mean holding a scheduled transfer or moving you to the next available slot. Either way, we’ll keep you informed and make sure you reach the resort swiftly.

🚨 Newsflash: Race Fees Waived for AC26! 🚨

Thanks to successful funding bids, race fees for AC26 have been completely waived!

We’re thrilled to offer a full schedule of training and races over the usual two-week duration, just like previous years. You can now book your training and race requirements directly through the platform.

👥 Important for RAF Serving Personnel:
Participation in at least one race (from Improvers to Advanced level) is mandatory.

📝 Race Entry Registration:
This will be auto-selected at the bottom of your package with a zero cost.

• If you are civilian or retired RAF and not racing, please unselect this option during booking.

📅 Race Schedule Update:
The race schedule is currently being finalized. We’ll keep you updated here on the platform and via our Facebook page as we move into autumn.

New - Hotel Egger - Hinterglemm

This winter we have options for families travelling for the Alpine Challenge. The Hotel Egger is a 4 star "family centric" hotel positioned right on the side of the slope of the U bahn. The hotel provide a comprehensive programmes for families, including child care options with facilities to keep your children entertained, watered and nourished throughout the day.
